Xeno and Ania
Growing Up
Everyone awoke the next morning and the kids were hungry. Xeno left Ania to take care of the kids while he went and got breakfast. He returned and got a big welcome home from Ania and the kids. The kids reached a year of age and were getting bigger. Xeno and Ania took the kids to their personal play area and while the kids were playing they started talking. Xeno thought it would be good to start training them, but just the basics. He thought about just teaching them how to control their elements and how to swing a claw or two. Ania agreed with Xeno because they would need to be prepared if something came around. They called over the kids and told them to follow them. They all took to the skies and then landed in a mysterious field. It was mysterious to the kids but not to Xeno or Ania because they would come here every night. Xeno trained the kids to control their elements with several training dummies. They got the hang of it pretty fast. Xeno brought out two final training dummies and told them to hit them with their claws. They hit them with their claws and when they did one burst in flames and the other got frozen in ice. Xeno and Ania looked at the kids with a slight disappointed and confused look. The two walked over and asked to feel their claws. When they did Sanras claw felt hot and was smoking and Valices felt cold as ice. They took the kids to Adnis and asked what was up with the kids. They told Adnis that Sanras claw had felt hot and was still somewhat hot and Valices felt cold as ice and was still just that. Adnis looked them over and then told Xeno and Ania that just like Xeno being able to combine his elements to free people of evil; the kids were able to somehow harness their inherited element in their claws which made their attack more powerful. Xeno gave Adnis thanks and was off back to the house with Ania and the kids. When they got back to the house went in and went to bed. The kids were growing up pretty fast, now 3 years old they had grown in size. They all decided to go take a walk through the village. The villagers starred at them seeing that the kids had gotten bigger. Xeno and Ania and the kids left the village and went to the training field. The villagers started talking over with one another and decided they would add another room to Xenos place so the kids would have a place to sleep. The villagers were working on three rooms one for each kid so they could have anything they wanted in it and a play room so they would have a room to play in. Meanwhile at the training field Xeno and Ania were still trying to train the kids in how to harness their element in their claws. They have been working on doing this for a year and finally the kids started to catch on. Valice was catching on faster than his sister but having trouble keeping it stable and active for the attack. Sanra on the other hand was able to keep in stable enough for the attack but didn`t have enough force behind it. They trained on this until is started to get dark and the kids asked for one more shot before they left. The kids took one more shot and Valice was able to keep it stable and Sanra was able to get more force behind her swing. The kids started flying around in happiness because they had worked on this for so long and finally was able to get it down. They all took flight and flew back to the house. At the house the villager that was on watch seen something in the moving through the sky. The villager rushed in and told the others to hurry up and finish. They were just finishing up the rooms and stood outside waiting for the family to return. Xeno landed and then the rest of them landed and he asked the villager what was going on. The villager told Xeno to follow him and they went inside. The villager showed Xeno the three extra rooms and told them whom they were for. Xeno gave thanks to villager and then walked out alongside the villager. They got outside and gave the other villagers great big thanks as well. Xeno, Ania, and the kids went inside and Xeno showed the kids to their rooms. Xeno and Ania put the kids to bed and then went to bed themselves. When they got into bed they both started remembering what it used to be like. They realized that is was so much better having not only one another to care for, but two lovely children to care for as well. They nuzzled one another and went to sleep. When Xeno awoke he went back to see if the kids wanted to go to the training field, but when he checked the rooms they were missing. Xeno started searching but found them nowhere around the house, but then decided he would try the training field. He flew out to the training field and found that they were at the training field. They were doing remarkably well so Xeno decided to sit back and watch. He didn`t want the kids to notice him there so he stayed low and kept breathing to a low soft flow, so even if they used sense they wouldn`t be able to notice him there. He sat watching thinking that they both inherited his will to train whenever he felt the need to. He figured that the two wanted to keep up their training on harnessing the element transfer until they got it perfect every time. Xeno noticed that every time Valice used it he was able to keep it stable for a longer period of time and that Sanra kept getting a more powerful strike each time she struck the training dummy. Xeno was too busy admiring the kids to notice Ania coming behind him. She tapped him and startled him which made him jump and rustle some grass. He moved quickly and silently to get her down and quite because the kids had stopped what they were doing and began looking around. When they noticed no one was there they started their training again. Xeno told Ania what the kids were doing and told them that they were doing better. Ania looked at them and realized that he was right about them getting better. They watched the kids train and when they thought they had it down to where they could get it every time they made themselves known. The kids jumped because they had no idea their mom and dad was watching them. The kids flew up to them and received a disappointed look at first and then a look of happiness. Xeno and Ania told them that if they were going to come to the training field they needed one of them to come along. The kids apologized and told their parents that they would do it next time. Xeno and Ania congratulated the kids on getting the element transfer to where they could do it every time. Xeno looked over the training field and seen training dummies all over the field, some burnt into ashes and others frozen in ice. He told the kids that they needed to clean up the training field. The kids quickly cleaned up and then they went back to the house. When they reached the house it was dinner time, so Xeno thought this would be a perfect time to teach the two about hunting animals. He told the kids to follow him and then they flew off. Xeno hovered in the sky while Valice dived in for a quick animal were as Sanra took on a slightly slower one. They both were able to snatch their animals and Xeno told them that this would be their dinner. Xeno then dived for his animal and came back up with a pretty big one. He loved sharing his catch with Ania and she loved this about him. They flew back home and the two ran inside telling their mother about their first catch. When dinner was done Xeno and Ania went and put the kids to bed and then went into their room to lie down.  They nuzzled one another and went to sleep, but their sleep wasn`t going to last. In the middle of the night Sanra came into their room and woke up Xeno. He asked her what was wrong and she told him that she had a nightmare. He wrapped his tail around her and put her in the middle of him and Ania. Sanra gave a loving nuzzle to her father and told him that she felt better and fell asleep and he did to soon after. Ania awoke to see Xeno up and Sanra sleeping next to her. Ania asked him why she was in the bed and he told her that Sanra had a little nightmare and he put her in between them. Ania looked at him with a smile and told him that it was alright. The day went on as normal. They went to the training field and kept on training the element transfer and still were improving this skill. They kept training until dark started to fall. They flew back to the house and went inside. Xeno and Valice went out to get the food while Ania and Sanra got the house cleaned up a bit. Amazingly this was all Valices idea from the start and so Xeno and Ania went along with it. Xeno came back with an animal for him and Ania and Ania asked where Valice was. Xeno told her that he was behind him and surprisingly he was. Valice walked through the door not to long after his father had. Valice had brought home an animal for him and Sanra to share. When they finished dinner Xeno and Ania put the kids into bed and then went and lied down in their room. They gave each other a loving nuzzle and then fell asleep. Two more years passed and the kids are now five and enjoying what they have learned even though it is still the basics. Xeno and Ania started talking and decided that it was time for the kids to learn how to be stealthy and some advanced skills. They started with the stealthy arts, Valices objective was to sneak up on his father and Sanra her mother. They started their approach but they weren't quite enough and got spotted. Each time they tried they would get closer. They worked on it until it got dark and on their last try they managed to get to their parents tails. Xeno and Ania were surprised how quickly they were getting it down. They went back home and went to bed. The next morning Xeno got up and went down to the village to ask one of the villagers for help. The villager obliged and followed Xeno to the training field. Xeno told the villager to stand in the field and face the back of the field. Xeno told the villager he would be back. Xeno flew back to the house and got the kids and Ania. They flew back to the field and landed in a silent manner. Xeno told Valice and Sanra to work together to sneak up on the villager. They both worked their way towards the villager and when they got close enough they jumped and landed on the unsuspecting villager. The villager went crazy and then noticed Xeno and Ania sitting on a rock so the villager realized that the ones on his back were Valice and Sanra. The villager told them they got stealthy fast and to continue training. The villager left the training field and then Xeno and Ania taught the kids some advanced fighting skills. They taught them how to use their tails to their advantage and a few flying stunts. They hit the training dummies a couple of time with their tails then they all took to the skies. Valice took up barrel rolling and doing loops in the sky in order to dodge incoming attacks and Sanra took up the same maneuvers, the only exception is that she added her own flare to make her maneuvers more graceful. Sanra flew gracefully through the sky just like her mother and Valice flew hard just like his father. The family enjoyed flying through the air doing all these stunts. The kids tried combining a couple of stunts in order to create new stunt techniques. Valice tried to do a loop with a spin by tucking in his wings and spinning as soon as he broke the top of the loop. Sanra watched her brother do this and then tried it herself and was able to get it on the first try. They both did it together in different directions and it turned out great. Sanra got so excited that she started spinning in place and she was somehow able to create so much friction that a fire started around her and she was able to create a flaming tornado. Valice starred at his sister with amazement because the form was amazing. He tried doing the same thing but instead of creating friction he used his ice element to surround himself in a circulation of ice. Xeno and Ania starred at the kids with amazement and confusion. Xeno and Ania called the kids over and they told them how proud they were on how the two of them were progressing in training. They all flew back to the village and got all the villagers to gather around. The family decided they would to put on somewhat of an aerial acrobatics show. Xeno and Ania went in with such passion that it amazed the villagers then they landed and let the kids take the sky. The kids flew off and began doing the basic stunts and then when they were about done they pulled off their final stunt.  They both began their loop in opposite direction and then as they were coming down they started their spin. When they began their spin they started using their elements which made them appear as quick blue and red flashes in the sky. When they reached a certain altitude they let out their wings and then landed by their parents. The four of them took to the sky for one last stunt. Xeno and Ania wanted to try and do what the kids were doing. The kids began a normal loop in opposite directions and then Xeno flew through the loop Valice was making and Ania through the loop Sanra was making. Xeno and Ania started a loop and as soon as they got in sync they all tucked in their wings started to spin and used their elements. The villagers shouted in amazement as the family finished their last stunt. The family gave thanks and then left for the house. They went inside and decided to just have a quick dinner tonight. Xeno and Valice went out and got dinner for the ladies and themselves. When they got done eating Xeno and Ania told the kids to go to bed and they happily obliged because of the busy day. Xeno and Ania then went and lied in bed. They gave each other a loving nuzzle and fell asleep. Three years past and the kids are now eight and have gotten close to the size of their mother and father. They all got up in the morning and left to the training field. Xeno and Ania told the two kids to spar with one another to see how they have grown in strength. When Valice and Sanra finished sparring they then had to spar with their parents. Valice spared with Ania and Sanra sparred with Xeno and at the end Xeno and Ania had an idea of the kids' strength. They all flew back to the house and when they got there Xeno told Ania and the kids to stay here. Xeno flew off and went to see if they school that him and Ania went to was still there. When Xeno got to where the school was he was saddened because the school was no longer here. Xeno then realized that he and Ania would be able to pass the skills they learned at this school onto their kids. Xeno loved to spend time with the two kids and so did Ania. Xeno flew back to the house and told Ania what he had found out and she felt somewhat upset, but then he told her that they would be able to train them in these arts. Ania went crazy because then they would become true teachers to the kids. They all went to the training field and began to train. Xeno and Ania began training Valice and Sanra the fighting styles of other dragons. Xeno and Ania had actually used what they had learned to create their own style of fighting. They told the kids that once they learned these skills they would need to create their own fighting style as well from these skills. Xeno and Ania put the kids through some heavy training, but the kids were able to take anything their parents dished out. They trained until it got dark and even as it got dark they still trained. They trained into the middle of the night and then stopped because using night eye was draining their energy. They flew around and each got their own dinner and then flew back to the house. They sat and ate dinner; the kids had half their dinner and then were ready for bed. The kids went to bed and left their parents to finish it off. Xeno and Ania sat together and ate dinner, then went and lied down themselves. They talked for a short time then nuzzled one another and fell asleep. Xeno and Ania ended up having the same dream that night without knowing it until the next day.
